1. The Club shall be known as Foyle Motorcycle Club.

2. The Club is established to promote the benefit of motorcycles and their users without distinction of sex, political or any other opinions The main aims are as follows:

a. To promote the use of the motorcycle in all its forms.
b. To offer support and help to all members.
c. To ensure that the legal requirements of motorcycling is upheld for the safety of the club members.

3. Membership of the club shall normally be open to all motorcyclists who are willing to comply with the constitution and are proposed and seconded by a full member.

4. New members will prospect for a minimum of six months.

5. The club shall meet at least once per month

6. A committee shall provide the management of the club. They will exercise all powers of the club including the power of:

a. Admitting members of the club on such terms and conditions as the committee may consider appropriate.
b. The appointment of sub-committees or advisory groups of its own members and other persons when necessary. All such committees shall report regularly on their work to the committee.

7. The membership of this committee shall be elected at an annual general meeting. The committee shall consist of a Chairperson, Vice Chairperson, Secretary and treasurer. These 4 shall be known as the executive group and they shall have overall responsibility for the work of the club. Other officers will be elected at this time to assist the executive group.

8. The annual general meeting of the club will be held at such time and place decided by the committee and is open to all members of the club. . The business shall include The following

a. An annual report of work done by or under the auspices of the committee.
b. The club accounts.
c. An election of a new committee.
d. Any other matters which the committee deem appropriate.

9. Sixty percent of the members shall be required as a quorum at any meeting.

10. All decisions of the club shall be by a simple majority vote. The chairperson shall have a casting vote if necessary.

11. Duties of the secretary shall be as follows:

a. The taking of notes at each meeting.
b. The preparation of the agenda for the next meeting.

12. The treasurer shall be responsible for all Moines received or spent by the club. They will keep a record of all monitory transactions of the club and present properly prepared accounts at least once a year. Two members of the executive group will sign all cheques.

13. The constitution may only be amended in any way at a constitutional meeting. All members must be notified at least one week in advance of the time and place of the meeting. Decisions will be by at least Two-thirds majority of those present.

14. Non members may attend and speech at meetings at the discretion of the club.

15. All property rented or acquired by the club shall be in the name of the Foyle Motorcycle Club.

16. A full member who is absent four meeting in a row (without apologising) shall return to prospect status.

17. The club may be dissolved by a Two-Third majority of the club.

18. In the event of dissolution of the club any net assets remaining after the settling of any outstanding debts and liabilities shall not be paid to or distributed amongst the members but shall be given or transferred to some other charitable institution.
